One of our largest internal events is the Women& Conference, hosted annually by the Women@ Pinclusion Group. Women& serves as a reminder that women are more than just a label. We are leaders, creators, teachers, learners, mothers, carers, dreamers, doers, and more. Women& embraces that complexity and the beauty of celebrating every facet of who we are and what we can achieve together as a community of women and allies.

Our 2026 conference theme was Unbreakable, which explores what it takes to stay strong as our whole selves in a shifting world: at work, at home, and in our communities. It’s not about never cracking; it’s about having the tools, support, and agency to come back stronger when we do. This year, we had live activations in 19 offices across the globe and virtually.

Conference agenda

Topics centered on human stories, skills, and community with Unbreakable pillars to ensure attendees picked up tools to empower both their personal and professional development.

  •  Unbreakable Self: building skills to adapt.
  •  Unbreakable Career: removing barriers at work.
  •  Unbreakable Community: growing a support network.
  •  Unbreakable Future: creating security.

This year’s conference had an action-packed agenda designed with growth, skill-building and creativity at the core. We held workshops that celebrated repair, resilience, and everyday strength like Kintsugi, Japanese Mending, and Zine Workshops. Our highlighted keynote speakers were some of the most compelling voices of confidence and grit like best selling author Evy Pompouras, broadcaster and activist Katie Piper and our Chief Marketing Officer and newest Women@ Executive Sponsor, Claudine Cheever. The focus was on intersectional topics that enabled us to partner with other Pinterest employee resource groups to deliver programming for community members and allies alike, further honing in on key topics like The Architecture of Legacy: How Families Build Wealth That Endures, sponsored by Blackboard.

Stephanie Bertmer, Director, Talent Development | AI Workshop Lead: I was excited to lead a session on AI agents because it gave us a chance to make an otherwise intimidating topic feel accessible and to show that anyone at Pinterest can be a builder. We spent time on work design and where Pinterest is in our AI journey so people had a realistic view of what’s possible today and clear, simple ways to get started. My hope is that attendees left feeling more confident, less overwhelmed, and energized to begin experimenting with purpose.

Ari Thompson, Sr. Writer, Remote | AI Workshop Attendee: I honestly learned a lot. I literally built my first agent today following the AI workshop. It's something I've been meaning to do for months and I was able to do it immediately and in less than 30 mins thanks to the workshop.

Pinterest Gives volunteer activity

Conference participants had the opportunity to support the International Rescue Committee (IRC), one of our Impact Partners, through both volunteering and giving. Across our global offices, Pinterest employees assembled more than 600 Welcome Kits filled with essential hygiene products for women and families in local communities. Throughout March, employees are also invited to give to IRC programs supporting women in the U.S. and Central America, with Pinterest matching eligible donations 2:1 to extend the impact even further.

Angela Li, Software Engineer II, New York: Making kits was very zen, and I lost track of how many we made. I really enjoyed chatting with the IRC staff to learn more about their work and career journeys, different volunteering opportunities at IRC, and what resources are most in need. I'll definitely keep menstrual products in mind for future donations, and I'm curious about their potential summer volunteering opportunities to do art outreach with youth.

Bringing the Women& Conference to life

Go behind the scenes with the Women& Planning Committee.

Kendall Galante, Sr. Performance Solutions Partner | Local Activation Program Manager: The local activations were thoughtfully designed to bring women and allies together in a powerful way. Each office lead localized the Unbreakable theme so the conference message resonated with their unique community. Seeing localization drive such strong engagement serves as a reminder that while resilience is personal, it’s strengthened through the local community.

Nikki White, Sr. Software Engineer | Virtual Experience Lead: Leading the virtual experience  showed me just how crucial it is to dedicate time and resources to the remote experience. When we give it focused attention, we ensure everyone, regardless of location, feels connected and included. What stood out most was the power of our volunteers and the sense of community they created. Their enthusiasm and willingness to help made the experience engaging and welcoming for all. Community truly thrives when everyone feels inspired to step up and participate.

Paige Lindholm, Sr. Workplace Operations Specialist, APAC | Conference Host: This year’s conference really showed how much thought and care goes into making space for women’s voices. Even details like the speaker introductions for local MCs helped highlight each person’s story and set the tone for meaningful conversations. Behind the scenes, it was all about bringing together women from across the globe, sharing different experiences, and building a sense of connection around a truly inspiring, women-led event.

Joyce Yuan, Machine Learning Engineer I | Conference Volunteer: As someone fairly new to Pinterest, my first Women& Conference made me feel especially welcomed into the community; it was heart-warming to see Pinterest employees dedicate their day to volunteering, engaging in sessions, and hosting fun crafts for all to enjoy.

Closing remarks

Our commitment is to keep building spaces where women feel genuinely seen, where their growth is supported with real tools and opportunities, and where they can connect with others who are invested in their success. When we center listening, learning, and long-term investment in women, we move closer to a future where their potential is expanded by the community beside them.
