Interview journey
After submitting your application
Recruiters review applications and assess whether your qualifications align with the requirements of the role. If so, you may hear from one of our recruiters. We want to be mindful of your time and effort throughout the process; kindly inform our team of any competing timelines that may arise.
Initial conversations with a Recruiter and Hiring Manager
Speaking with a Recruiter can include questions about your experience and an overview of the interview process. Hiring Manager discussions will more deeply assess your qualifications in the role. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the role, team and Pinterest life.
Meeting with the team
If selected to move forward, you’ll be invited to the interview round to meet with team members. Your recruiting partner will prepare you to connect with key cross-functional partners who will assess your skills through carefully curated, competency-based interviews. Utilize this time to explore your potential stakeholder relationships and understand how we come together to solve challenges.
Outcome and offer
Once all candidates have completed the interview round, the team will debrief and come to a final decision. Your recruiter will provide updates to you directly. Our goal is to provide competitive offers that fairly match the responsibilities of the role.

The timeline for filling each open role varies. Should you move forward in the process, your recruiting partner will share information and answer any questions around timelines and expectations during your initial conversation.

Recruiting partners
Sourcer
A Sourcer may reach out to you to learn more about your background and move you through the early stages of the recruitment process. Your sourcing partner can answer questions about the role, team or company. Should you make it to the interview round, your Sourcer will introduce you to a Recruiter who will guide you through the rest of the process.
Recruiting Coordinator
Our recruiting coordination team works diligently to schedule your interviews with the Pinterest team. For any questions regarding scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations or technical troubleshooting, please reach out to the Recruiting Coordinator who sends your invites.
Recruiter
Your recruiter will be your main point of contact throughout the hiring process. You can direct all questions about the position, team or company to your recruiting partner. They will keep you informed with process updates and help prepare you along the way.
